DTP Specialist

Responsible for formatting and typesetting documentation using templates.

Responsibilities:

·         Typeset documentation based on templates.

·         Edit graphics.

·         Troubleshoot and resolve DTP, graphics, and font related issues.

·         Pre-process source files and post-process translated files.

·         Work across multiple platforms and applications.

 

Experience:

·         Two years in desktop publishing

·         Experience in the translation industry a plus

 

Skills/Abilities:

·         Excellent publishing skills

·         Analytical ability

·         Ability to multitask

·         Attention to detail

·         Understanding of production process flow

 

Equipment and Software Used Directly:

·         PC, Mac, and network file server

·         Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

·         PageMaker, QuarkXPress, FrameMaker, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash and other DTP applications
