Software Localization Engineer
Responsible for analysis and preparation of localization
files. Responsible for localization and testing of GUI,
online help, and web sites.
Responsibilities:

Analyze files to be localized.
·
Pre-process
and post-process files to be localized.
·
Take and
place screen captures.
·
GUI resizing and engineering.
·
Format,
recompile and test online help files.
·
Test
localized executables and web sites.
Experience:
·
Two years of software and web site localization experience required.
·
Extensive
knowledge of html, xml, java, sgml, and other web-related formats and
environments.
·
Bachelor's
degree in CS, MIS or similar.
Skills/Abilities:
·
Analytical and problem solving skills.
·
Attention to detail.
·
Excellent
computer skills.
·
Understanding of localization process flow.
Software:
·
PC and Power Macintosh, network file server.
·
Windows 95,
98, 2000, ME, XP, NT, Mac OS, Linux.
·
Microsoft
Office Suite.

Graphic
editing applications.
·
RoboHelp.
·
TRADOS and
other CAT Tools.
